Stock News01-28

XD INC (02400) saw its shares surge more than 8% during the early trading session. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 6.42%, trading at HK$87.85, with a turnover of HK$156 million.

On January 8th, the international version of "XD Town" was launched, quickly securing the top spot on the free charts in over 50 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom, and attracted over 5 million new users within its first week.

On January 23rd, XD INC officially announced that the download count for the international version of the "XD Town" mobile game had surpassed 10 million.

Kaiyuan Securities released a research note stating that the consistently higher-than-expected user numbers may lay the foundation for subsequent revenue growth that could also exceed expectations, while the concurrent online user count on the Steam platform is also steadily increasing, potentially bringing further revenue increments.

Guojin Securities also believes that the buzz surrounding the "XD Town" international version continues to rise on social media platforms, and the abundance of UGC content within the game holds significant social display value. As the game progresses and players unlock more features, sharing more game content on social media is expected to further break through existing user circles and continue expanding the game's user base.
