Geely Auto Issues 0.33 Million New Shares via Option Exercise, Bringing Total Outstanding to 10.79 Billion – July 2026 Monthly Return

Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely Auto) has filed its Monthly Return for the period ended 31 July 2026, highlighting a marginal expansion of its share base driven exclusively by employee share-based incentives.

Authorised Share Capital • Remained unchanged at 18.00 billion ordinary shares with a par value of HKD 0.02 each, equivalent to authorised capital of HKD 360.00 million.

Issued and Treasury Shares • Issued shares (excluding treasury) increased by 0.33 million to 10.79 billion. • Treasury shares were unchanged at 63.21 million, leaving the total number of issued shares (including treasury) at 10.85 billion.

Share Option Activity • Exercise of 0.33 million options under the 2023 Share Option Scheme accounted for the entire monthly issuance. • Gross proceeds from the option exercise totalled HKD 3.14 million. • Post-exercise, 572.15 million options remain outstanding under the 2023 scheme, while 471.13 million options remain outstanding under the 2012 scheme.

Public Float Status • Geely Auto confirmed compliance with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s minimum 25% public-float requirement as at 31 July 2026.

No other equity movements—such as share buybacks, warrant exercises, or convertible issuances—were reported for the month.
