German defense contractor Rheinmetall has announced it has secured a contract valued in the hundreds of millions of euros to supply four Skynex air defense systems to an undisclosed international customer.
The Skynex system is specifically engineered for very short-range air defense and is capable of countering threats such as drones and rockets.
The contract encompasses the supply of trucks, ammunition, and logistical support services.
The order was booked in the second quarter of this year.
