According to individuals with knowledge of the matter, data center startup Crusoe, which has supply contracts for AI computing power with companies including Meta Platforms Inc and Oracle, is in discussions to raise approximately $3 billion in funding. This could potentially triple the company's valuation.

These sources indicated that the company, which builds and operates large-scale data centers to support AI systems, is still actively negotiating this funding round, and a final valuation has not yet been set. The individuals requested anonymity as the discussions are private. However, they stated that investors anticipate the valuation could reach around $30 billion, which would include the new investment. The company was previously valued at approximately $10 billion in October.

Crusoe declined to comment.
