New Journey Health Technology Group Co., Ltd. announced on October 31 that its medical services segment generated revenue of 2.018 billion yuan in the first three quarters, a year-on-year decline of 13.88%. The decrease was primarily attributed to adjustments in medical insurance payment policies, leading to reduced hospitalization volumes and average costs per admission.
Through structural optimization, improved revenue efficiency, and cost control measures, the company increased the gross margin of its medical services segment by 1.1 percentage points year-on-year during the same period.
Meanwhile, the pharmaceutical segment reported revenue of 238 million yuan, down 60.46% year-on-year, mainly due to the impact of centralized procurement policies on its Du Yi Wei product series, which saw declines in both pricing and sales volume. The segment recorded a loss in the first three quarters.
