Meinian Onehealth Healthcare Holdings Co., Ltd. (002044.SZ) has released its semi-annual report for 2026, revealing a total operating revenue of RMB 3.844 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 6.45%. The company recorded a net loss attributable to shareholders of RMB 182 million, while the net loss attributable to shareholders excluding non-recurring gains and losses stood at RMB 207 million.
Within its core revenue, income generated through AI-integrated technologies reached RMB 218.99 million, representing a significant surge of 55.96% compared to the same period last year. This growth was primarily driven by projects such as cardiopulmonary co-screening, AI bone density assessment, capsule gastroscopy, AI-MDT reporting, lung nodule management, and brain health screening. The total number of customer visits reached 9.25 million, with 5.75 million visits at directly-operated branches. During the first half of 2026, the average spending per physical examination customer was RMB 628.
According to the company, the performance fluctuations are mainly attributed to several factors. Firstly, the health checkup industry exhibits strong seasonal patterns, and during the traditionally slow first half, the distribution of holidays and corporate financial accounting cycles led to deferred budgets and postponed checkup schedules for some enterprises. Secondly, while order signing remained relatively stable overall, business impacted by checkup timing is expected to gradually materialize in the latter half of the year. The company plans to actively promote growth among high-quality clients in government, banking, and insurance sectors, continuously increasing the proportion of national-level client contracts and checkup shares.
Finally, the company has been steadily advancing efficiency improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Leveraging AI and digitalization, it continues to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue innovation to better prepare for the peak checkup season in the second half of the year.
