Daktronics' stock plummeted 9.20% during intraday trading on Wednesday following the release of its fiscal third-quarter earnings results.
The video display maker reported quarterly earnings that fell short of analyst expectations. Daktronics posted fiscal Q3 earnings per share of $0.06, significantly below the FactSet consensus estimate of $0.13. The company also reported adjusted EPS of $0.09, which missed the $0.13 estimate.
Operating expenses of $41.7 million outpaced estimates of $40.4 million, contributing to the profit miss. The company said it is monitoring the evolving tariff landscape and inflationary impacts while promising to take pricing actions accordingly.
