Anhui Aims to Rank Among China's Top Tier for Humanoid Robot Output by 2030

On September 28, the Information Office of the Anhui Provincial Government held a press conference, inviting officials from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology to interpret the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of the Robot Industry" recently issued by the General Office of the Provincial Government.

According to the conference, Anhui will seize the strategic opportunities of the "15th Five-Year Plan" period and build robotics and embodied intelligence into emerging pillar industries.

The plan aims for industrial robot output to rank among the top in the country by 2030, with humanoid robot output entering the national first tier. In more than 10 segmented fields such as spraying, explosion-proof equipment, and warehouse logistics, robot output is targeted to lead domestically.

By 2035, the goal is to build a robotics industry cluster with significant national influence.
