Yanchang Petroleum to Seek Re-Appointment of BDO as 2026 Auditor with HK$2.20 Million Fee

Bulletin Express05-07

Yanchang Petroleum International Limited released a supplemental announcement on 7 May 2026 detailing plans to re-appoint BDO Limited as external auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.

An ordinary resolution will be tabled at the upcoming annual general meeting to confirm BDO’s mandate and authorize the board to fix the remuneration. The estimated audit fee is set at HK$2.20 million, exclusive of out-of-pocket expenses.

The board cited BDO’s detailed knowledge of the Group’s financial affairs and expected audit efficiencies as the basis for deeming the proposed fee fair and reasonable. Unless there is a material shift in the Group’s operations, accounting policies, or regulatory environment, management does not anticipate a significant deviation from the quoted amount; any substantial change will prompt further disclosure.

All other information in the company’s 22 April 2026 AGM circular and notice remains unchanged.
