At the close of trading, the price for August-delivery gold futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange settled at $4,238.80 per ounce, marking a rise of 3.03%. Meanwhile, July-delivery silver futures concluded at $67.974 per ounce, achieving a substantial gain of 6.21%.
