On December 14 (interview date), a heart-stopping yet heartwarming incident occurred in Haining Leather City, Zhejiang. A 5-year-old boy suddenly fainted while trying on clothes in a store. In the critical moment, Ms. Zhu, the owner of a neighboring clothing store, stepped in and successfully revived the child within the crucial four-minute window.
Ms. Zhu recalled that the boy was shopping with his grandparents when he collapsed in a nearby store. His grandmother carried him out in tears, desperately seeking help. Upon seeing the unconscious child, Ms. Zhu immediately checked his condition and found he had stopped breathing, with no pulse and a limp body. Without hesitation, she performed CPR. By the third round of chest compressions and the fifth rescue breath, the boy finally showed signs of recovery.
This life-saving act highlights the importance of quick response in emergencies.
