China Shenhua Energy Company Limited (601088.SH) announced that Unit 4 of the Phase II expansion project at its approximately 52%-owned subsidiary, Guoneng Guangtou Beihai Power Generation Co., Ltd. ("Beihai Power"), has successfully passed the 168-hour trial operation and has been transferred to commercial operation. With this milestone, both units of the Beihai Phase II project, each with a capacity of 1,000 megawatts utilizing ultra-supercritical, single-reheat coal-fired power generation technology, are now fully constructed and operational.
