On March 20, Ping An Bank Co.,Ltd. announced a board resolution approving the proposal to appoint Mr. Wu Leiming as a deputy president of the company. The appointment is subject to approval by the National Financial Regulatory Administration.
According to his resume, Wu Leiming was born in 1976 and holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Zhongnan University of Economics and Finance and a master's degree in business administration from Wuhan University. His career began at the Hubei Branch of Agricultural Bank of China, where he worked from July 1997 to October 2002. From October 2002 to July 2006, he held various positions at Shenzhen Development Bank's Beijing Branch, including staff member, manager, and assistant general manager in the Market Management Department, as well as deputy general manager of the Trade Finance Department. From July 2006 to October 2009, he served as deputy manager of the Credit Approval Department and North China Credit Approval Center at Shenzhen Development Bank. From October 2009 to April 2013, he held roles as deputy general manager (acting in charge) and later general manager of the Credit Approval Center at Ping An Bank's Beijing Branch. Between April 2013 and December 2016, he served as chief credit approval executive and later as deputy president and chief risk officer of Ping An Bank's Zhengzhou Branch. From December 2016 to June 2020, he was deputy president of Ping An Bank's Beijing Branch. From June 2020 to December 2023, he served as president of Ping An Bank's Xi'an Branch. Since December 2023, he has been a member of the Party Committee of Ping An Bank's Head Office. From April 2024 to March 2026, he held the position of assistant president and chief risk officer of the Head Office. Since March 2026, he has served as assistant president, chief risk officer, and chief compliance officer of the Head Office.
