Bank of Communications has successfully issued its second tranche of Tier 2 capital bonds for 2026 in the interbank market.
The issuance size is 40 billion yuan, with a tenor of 10 years and an issuer call option at the end of the fifth year. The coupon rate is set at 1.89%.
The offering attracted broad market participation, with over 130 investors subscribing, including a diverse range of institutions such as banks, funds, securities firms, and insurance companies. This robust demand underscores the market's strong affirmation of the bank's credit quality and the investment value of its capital instruments.
