On August 20th, the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lingang New Area officially launched its "Digital Comprehensive Bonded Zone" platform, aimed at advancing the digital transformation of Yangshan Special Comprehensive Bonded Zone and enhancing regional convenience levels.
According to the announcement, the "Digital Comprehensive Bonded Zone" leverages the integrated information management service platform data foundation of Lingang New Area, establishing four major functional modules: smart customs clearance, smart empowerment, smart supervision, and smart services.
The smart customs clearance module will improve the customs checkpoint digital twin system, conducting intelligent analysis and early warning on vehicle and cargo information entering and exiting the zone, as well as checkpoint traffic efficiency, achieving full-process visibility and intelligent alerts for cargo flow. Following the module's launch, the customs clearance efficiency at Shanghai Nangang automobile import and export operations will significantly improve, transitioning from "ships waiting for vehicles" to "vehicles waiting for ships."
The smart empowerment module focuses on breaking down departmental data barriers through digitalization, providing support for various innovative business model breakthroughs. The smart supervision module connects with different regulatory department service platforms, improves enterprise risk and credit evaluation mechanisms, and establishes collaborative response centers to meet cross-departmental coordinated supervision requirements. The smart services module provides comprehensive services to enterprises, including customs declaration enterprise registration and logistics customs clearance inquiries.
