On important news in the baijiu industry, Huachuang Securities recently released a research report titled "Food and Beverage Beta Bottoming, Positioning Leaders for Recovery." The report holds that the baijiu industry remained in a phase of accelerated clearing and destocking in the third quarter, with further divergence emerging among different liquor companies. On the high-end liquor front, Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. (600519) overall performed relatively steadily, with Huachuang expecting its third-quarter revenue to edge up 0.5% year on year and profit to dip 3% year on year; Wuliangye Yibin Co.,Ltd. (000858) and Luzhou Laojiao remained in a stage of pronounced adjustment, with third-quarter revenue and profit expected to decline significantly. On the base-type sub-high-end liquor front, industry clearing continues, but some second-tier liquor companies have already shown early signs of improvement in their financial statements, among which Jinshiyuan is expected to achieve year-on-year growth in both third-quarter revenue and profit, while Gujing Gongjiu's revenue side is also expected to turn slightly positive. Huachuang noted that the baijiu industry as a whole remains in a bottoming phase, with liquor companies shifting from previously passive responses to proactive adjustments, continuing to focus on accelerated clearing and pressure relief through destocking in 2026, with an industry inflection point expected to gradually emerge in 2027. On the allocation side, it prioritizes recommending Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. (600519) for its strong ability to navigate cycles, while also watching Gujing Gongjiu and Jinshiyuan, whose inventory bottoming pace is relatively fast, as well as Wuliangye Yibin Co.,Ltd. (000858), Shanxi Fenjiu and Luzhou Laojiao, which has elasticity under a low base.
