Recently, the Industry and Information Technology Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region officially announced the 2025 Key Development Special Fund (Second Batch) list. Five subsidiaries of China Northern Rare Earth(Group)High-Tech Co.,Ltd.—Rare Earth Research Institute, Tianjiao Qingmei, Ruixin Company, Hydrogen Storage Company, and Huaxing Rare Earth—were selected as "Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive, and Innovative" SMEs. Additionally, Hefa Rare Earth was recognized as a Manufacturing Champion Enterprise in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Huaxing Rare Earth's new 8,000-ton metal project also secured funding under the Advanced Manufacturing Cluster and Key Industrial Chain Technological Transformation Program.
In recent years, China Northern Rare Earth has deepened the integration of technological and industrial innovation, increasing R&D investment in key areas such as rare earth metals, new materials, and applications. Market-driven demand has accelerated breakthroughs in core technologies, injecting strong momentum into high-quality productivity development. To date, the group has nurtured 10 innovative SMEs, eight "Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive, and Innovative" SMEs, three provincial-level Manufacturing Champion Enterprises, and one national-level Manufacturing Champion Enterprise.
Moving forward, China Northern Rare Earth will refine its cultivation, certification, support, and monitoring mechanisms for high-quality enterprises. By implementing targeted, tiered, and categorized development strategies, the company aims to establish a progressive growth system spanning "Innovative SMEs → Specialized SMEs → 'Little Giant' Enterprises." Leveraging policy opportunities, it will amplify the exemplary role of specialized firms, enhance industrial chain collaboration, and reinforce its position as a global rare earth leader while driving the development of "Two Rare Earth Bases."
