BYD has officially released the 2026 Seal 06GT and the 2026 Seal 06DM-i Touring Edition. The 2026 Seal 06GT carries an official guide price ranging from 128,900 to 169,900 yuan, while the 2026 Seal 06DM-i Touring Edition is priced between 111,900 and 139,900 yuan.
The 2026 Seal 06GT is equipped with flash-charging technology and second-generation Blade Battery, achieving a maximum pure electric range of 620 km. The vehicle features the Tian Shen Zhi Yan B - Advanced Driver-Assistance System Laser Edition (DiPilot-300), which includes an upgraded lidar system supporting Tian Shen Zhi Yan 5.0. This system offers functions such as City Navigate on Autopilot (CNOA), Highway Navigate on Autopilot (HNOA), and all-scenario parking assistance. It also comes with the premium Smart Cockpit system, DiLink 150.
In terms of performance, the new model's electric motor delivers a maximum power output of 240 kW, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. It incorporates the Yun Nian-C Intelligent Damping Body Control System and adds a new road preview function. Additional features include customizable driving modes and an anti-motion sickness mode. The vehicle also introduces a high-speed tire blowout stability control system, designed to maintain control even during a tire blowout at speeds up to 140 km/h.
For comfort and convenience, the 2026 Seal 06GT adds an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat with 4-way lumbar support. A new 66L front trunk is included, featuring electric unlocking. Other amenities comprise a 127-color ambient lighting system, a dual-zone cooling and warming refrigerator, a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, and a VTOL mobile power station. Exterior color options are expanded with Mirror Sea Silver and Posia Rose Red, alongside two new monochrome body colors: Aegean Blue and Aurora Purple. The interior introduces a new Twilight Purple/Warm White dual-tone color scheme.
The 2026 Seal 06DM-i Touring Edition is BYD's first plug-in hybrid model to offer a pure electric range of 300 km. It is available in two versions with CLTC pure electric ranges of 200 km and 300 km, and achieves a fuel consumption of 3.15 L per 100 km under NEDC standards when the battery is depleted. The model utilizes a dedicated power-type Blade Battery for plug-in hybrids, which can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes. Furthermore, the vehicle introduces four new scenario modes: Baby Mode, Car Wash Mode, Nap Mode, and Camping Mode. It is also equipped with a W-HUD head-up display and a road preview function.
The 2026 Seal 06DM-i Touring Edition offers an optional Tian Shen Zhi Yan B - Advanced Driver-Assistance System Laser Edition (DiPilot 300), which includes an upgraded lidar and supports Tian Shen Zhi Yan 5.0. New safety features include a driver fatigue monitoring system, along with E-CALL emergency rescue services and I-CALL 24-hour intelligent customer service. The exterior color palette is expanded with Extreme Tide Green and Obsidian Black, while the cabin introduces a new Twilight Blue interior color option.
