ZACD Group (08313) has issued a profit alert, projecting a net profit of approximately S$590,000 for the first half of 2026, a sharp contrast to the net loss of about S$730,000 recorded in the same period last year.
The anticipated swing to profitability is attributed to several key factors. Firstly, the group's revenue increased by S$210,000, representing a 15.2% rise year-on-year. Secondly, the group recorded a reversal of impairment losses on financial assets of approximately S$1.83 million, compared with a net loss of around S$140,000 in the prior corresponding period. Thirdly, employee costs were reduced by roughly S$250,000, down 14.3% from the S$250,000 net loss figure reported a year earlier.
These combined improvements are expected to drive the company's financial performance into positive territory for the period.
