Robotechnik (03757) surged more than 10% before noon, rising 9.57% as of press time to HKD 421.40, with a trading turnover of HKD 106 million.

Robotechnik originally started as an automation equipment company for photovoltaic cell production. After completing the acquisition of Germany's ficonTEC in 2025, it gained capabilities in photonic chip automated packaging and testing equipment. In the first half of the year, the optoelectronics and semiconductor business segment accounted for 81.16% of the company's main business revenue, a substantial increase, and has become the core driving force behind the company's performance growth.

Huaxin Securities previously noted that the company has achieved full-process equipment coverage from Insertion2 and Insertion3 to Insertion4 in the CPO testing segment. Among these, in the Insertion2 and Insertion3 stages, the company holds a unique market position. Since ficonTEC collaborated with core customers to complete the development and validation of double-sided wafer testing equipment and die testing equipment in 2025, the company has successively obtained multiple mass-production orders for the aforementioned equipment, some of which have already been delivered and recognized as revenue. The company is currently continuing to expand production in line with customer demand pace.
