FREETECH (06888) Reports Annual Results, Swings to HK$55.8 Million Loss Attributable to Owners

FREETECH (06888) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2025. The Group recorded revenue of HK$134 million, a decrease of 28.8% compared to the previous year. The loss attributable to company owners was HK$55.814 million, a reversal from a profit of HK$12.557 million in the same period last year. The basic loss per share was 4.8 HK cents.

According to the announcement, the Group's performance was primarily due to the net impact of the following factors: a decrease in revenue from the asphalt road maintenance services segment; an increase in revenue from the asphalt road maintenance equipment segment; the recognition of impairment loss provisions for financial and contract assets; and an increase in administrative expenses.

As of December 31, 2025, the Group maintained a solid financial position, with total cash on hand of approximately HK$208 million.
