Joyson Electronics Proposes Wang Wenhai as New Independent Non-Executive Director

Joyson Electronics (00699) has announced that Professor Wei Xuezhe will not seek re-election at the annual general meeting due to board rotation arrangements and his personal career plans. Following the approval of his successor at the meeting, he will step down from his roles as independent non-executive director, chairman of the board's nomination, remuneration and assessment committee, and member of the strategy and ESG committee. The board has recommended the re-election of directors and, in light of Professor Wei's departure, proposed the appointment of Mr. Wang Wenhai as an independent non-executive director to form the twelfth board of directors. His term will last for three years starting from the date the relevant resolution is approved at the annual general meeting.
