The May futures contract for the Hang Seng Index concluded the night session on April 30 at 25,729 points. This represents a decline of 211 points, or 0.813%, leaving the futures at a discount of 383 points compared to the spot index. The total number of open contracts was 116,474, a decrease of 10,304 contracts. The net number of open contracts stood at 37,190, down by 2,130 contracts.
