Stock News06-24

Shares of HENLIUS (02696) climbed nearly 4% in Hong Kong trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 3.98% to HK$65.05, with a turnover of approximately HK$10.51 million.

The catalyst for the move was a recent announcement. On June 23rd, the company and its partner Organon Canada declared that the denosumab injection BILDYOS® (60 mg/mL) and the denosumab injection TUZEMTY® (120 mg/1.7 mL) have officially been commercially launched in Canada. These products cover all Canadian-approved indications for the originator drugs PROLIA and XGEVA.

Denosumab is indicated for multiple conditions, functioning by enhancing bone strength to treat osteoporosis and manage tumor-related bone events. The launch of BILDYOS® in Canada is reported to broaden treatment options for patients in the region. It is also expected to help reduce healthcare costs by improving the accessibility of biosimilar medicines.

These two new products further augment Organon's expanding biosimilar portfolio in Canada. This portfolio now spans five major therapeutic areas, including oncology, and features several products that have been on the market for over nine years.
