Moutai 1935 Holds Steady at 684 Yuan for Third Consecutive Day

Deep News10-22

Data collected by Sina Finance's "Liquor Price Reference" over the past 24 hours shows that on October 22, the average terminal retail prices of 12 major baijiu products saw ten declines and two unchanged readings, with none rising. All products that moved in price adjusted downward, marking the second straight day of a sharp overall price decline.

On the downside, Feitian Moutai fell 2 yuan to 1,788 yuan, extending a four-day losing streak and moving further down to a recent low. Premium Moutai dropped 3 yuan to 2,460 yuan, declining for a second consecutive day as the recent price level continued to come under pressure. Wuliangye's Pu Wu Eighth Generation fell 3 yuan to 794 yuan, with three straight declines totaling 13 yuan, continuing to probe lower after losing the 800-yuan mark. Wuliangye 1618 slipped 1 yuan to 830 yuan, failing to extend yesterday's modest rebound and returning to its recent consolidation range. Qinghua Fen 20 fell 6 yuan to 389 yuan, with the decline widening further from yesterday and the 390-yuan threshold giving way. Yanghe Mengzhilan M6+ plunged 7 yuan to 607 yuan, dropping sharply after a brief rebound yesterday, with the short-term correction clearly intensifying. Gujinggong Gu 20 tumbled 8 yuan to 527 yuan, nearly exhausting gains accumulated during an earlier four-day rally. Xijiu Junpin fell 1 yuan to 632 yuan; although the decline narrowed after yesterday's sharp drop, a fifth straight daily loss indicates the price level remains weak. Qinghualang plunged 9 yuan to 699 yuan, breaking below the 700-yuan round-number threshold. Crystal Jiannanchun fell 1 yuan to 409 yuan, declining modestly for a second consecutive day.

On the flat side, Moutai 1935 held steady at 684 yuan for a third straight day of no change, while Guojiao 1573 remained at 887 yuan, stabilizing temporarily after ending a two-day losing streak.

Today, the total terminal retail price of the 12 major products continued to fall sharply, with ten products declining in price. Among them, Qinghualang, Gujinggong Gu 20, Yanghe Mengzhilan M6+, and Qinghua Fen 20 posted relatively large declines, placing clear pressure on the overall price level. If one bottle of each of the 12 products were packaged and sold together, the total price today would be 10,706 yuan, down sharply by 41 yuan from yesterday, marking a second consecutive day of rapid decline and setting a new low for the past 30 days.

Daily data for "Liquor Price Reference" comes from roughly 200 collection points reasonably distributed across major regions nationwide, including but not limited to liquor companies' designated distributors, social distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sampled data consists of actual transaction terminal retail prices handled by each point over the past 24 hours, striving to provide all sectors with objective, scientific, and fully traceable data on market prices of major baijiu products.

With the official i-Moutai platform beginning sales of Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle around New Year's Day (raised to 1,539 yuan per bottle on March 31 and again to 1,639 yuan per bottle on July 18), and starting sales of Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle on January 9 (raised to 2,359 yuan per bottle on May 16), this new channel's magnetic influence on the average terminal retail prices of the two products is gradually becoming apparent. The daily liquor prices published by "Liquor Price Reference" follow a calculation rule weighted by actual transaction volume, and we have incorporated quantifiable prices into the calculation of terminal retail prices for the two liquor products.

On the industry news front, the 2026 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference opened in Shanghai on October 20. Wang Li, general manager of Moutai Group, explained Moutai's quality, character, and brand value from the three dimensions of natural ecology, micro-ecology, and human ecology during her opening speech, and disclosed several environmental operating data points. The data shows that in 2025, Kweichow Moutai's water consumption per unit of product fell 32.4% compared with 2023, green electricity coverage at its factory area reached 100%, total carbon emissions fell 6.3% year on year, and its current MSCI ESG rating is A. Among these, water consumption per unit of product reflects resource utilization efficiency in the production process, green electricity coverage reflects changes in the factory area's energy structure, and total carbon emissions directly present the company's current-period emissions performance. The three indicators cover key links including water use, energy, and carbon emissions, enabling Kweichow Moutai's proposed "triple ecology" to move further from the conceptual level to quantifiable and verifiable operating indicators, and also showcasing the company's actual progress in environmental management in the production process.
