Zhaluteqi Launches $1.62 Million Urban Lighting EMC Energy Management Tender

A tender announcement for the Zhaluteqi Urban Lighting EMC Energy Management Project in Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, was issued on April 2. The project has a budget of 16.2022 million yuan and an operational tenure of 10 years.

The bidding scope includes three primary components: first, implementing energy-saving retrofits for traditional road lighting and adding a smart city management and control system; second, repairing damaged cables on streets such as Beishan Street and Bayan Wulan Road to ensure a 100% streetlight illumination rate; and third, outsourcing maintenance services for landscape lighting and power supply/distribution facilities.

The project covers 43 roads within the town area, involving 2,384 light poles and 5,628 various streetlights. Among the fixtures, excluding decorative lights, festive lanterns, and solar streetlights, there are 66 high-pressure sodium lamps, 1,540 induction lamps, and 1,890 LED lamps, totaling 3,496 units. Specific repairs will target Beishan Street and Bayan Wulan Road, where aging cables require complete replacement.

Prospective bidders can obtain tender documents via the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government Procurement Network (Government Procurement Cloud Platform). The deadline for bid submission is 09:00 on April 24, 2026 (Beijing Time).

Basic project details are as follows: Project Number: 152223-WANYUE-GK-20260001; Procurement Method: Open Tender. The project accepts consortium bids. The contract performance period is 10 years, including a 3-month energy-saving retrofit construction phase.

Qualification requirements for applicants stipulate that they must meet the conditions outlined in Article 22 of the Government Procurement Law of the People's Republic of China. Specifically, for Contract Package 1, bidders must possess a Grade II or above professional contracting qualification for urban and road lighting engineering, issued by the construction administrative department, along with a valid work safety permit.

Tender documents are available free of charge online from April 2, 2026, to April 10, 2026. The bid opening will take place in the Fourth Bid Opening Room of the Xing'an League Public Resource Trading Center in Ulanhot City. Project funding is sourced from the local budget.
