On December 22, the "Agricultural Product Wholesale Price 200 Index" stood at 130.52, down 0.17 points from last Friday, while the "Vegetable Basket" product wholesale price index was 133.46, a decline of 0.18 points. As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price of pork was 17.56 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from last Friday. Beef remained unchanged at 65.92 yuan/kg, while lamb rose 1.0% to 63.00 yuan/kg. Eggs increased 0.4% to 7.48 yuan/kg, and dressed chicken edged up 0.4% to 17.92 yuan/kg.
The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables fell 0.7% to 5.83 yuan/kg, while six major fruits saw a 0.8% increase to 7.74 yuan/kg. Crucian carp prices held steady at 19.43 yuan/kg, whereas carp dropped 0.7% to 13.78 yuan/kg. Silver carp rose 0.5% to 10.57 yuan/kg, and large hairtail surged 2.6% to 41.02 yuan/kg.
Among the 46 key agricultural products monitored in domestic wholesale markets today, the top five gainers compared to last Friday were scallions, bananas, pumpkins, eggplants, and wax gourds, with increases of 4.9%, 4.2%, 3.5%, 3.2%, and 3.1%, respectively. The biggest decliners were cauliflower, lettuce, cucumbers, celery, and rapeseed, dropping 6.4%, 4.9%, 4.5%, 3.9%, and 3.5%, respectively.
