ZEEKR today released a statement regarding the delivery timeline and wait-time incentives for the ZEEKR 9X, announcing the introduction of compensation for customers facing extended delivery waits. According to the official announcement, if the actual vehicle pickup date exceeds the latest estimated delivery date displayed in the ZEEKR App, the company will provide a daily customer appreciation payment of 200 yuan per day until the delivery notification date, with the cumulative amount capped at 12,000 yuan, which can be directly deducted from the final payment upon vehicle collection.
Since its launch, the ZEEKR 9X has topped the sales chart for large SUVs priced above 500,000 yuan for two consecutive months, with an average delivery price per vehicle exceeding 530,000 yuan. The announcement noted that, as a new-generation luxury flagship model equipped with numerous industry-leading technological features, the 9X presents challenges for rapidly scaling up production capacity. ZEEKR stated that through joint efforts with supply chain partners, significant progress has been made in ramping up production for certain components.
Currently, the delivery lead time for the ZEEKR 9X Max and Ultra versions has been shortened to 2-6 weeks, while the Ultra version equipped with the optional intelligent active stabilizer bar has a delivery cycle of 4-8 weeks. The delivery cycle for the Hyper and Yao Hei (曜黑) editions has also been reduced by 4 weeks; however, due to initial orders far exceeding expectations, a substantial backlog of previous orders still needs to be processed, meaning delivery will require additional time.
