On November 1, the finals of the 2025 China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP) "AI+" Application Scenario Challenge and the Logistics & Supply Chain Industry Innovation Exchange were held in Yuanhe Subdistrict, Suzhou’s Xiangcheng District. Industry leaders and technology pioneers gathered to witness cutting-edge AI technology sharing and the most valuable AI applications in logistics, while exploring innovative integration of artificial intelligence with logistics scenarios.
He Hui, Vice President of CFLP, Liu Yuhang, Director of the China Logistics Information Center, and Zhang Yong, Chairman of China Information Technology Designing & Consulting Institute Co., Ltd., attended the event. Also present were Shen Zhidong, Party Secretary of Xiangcheng District, Gu Jianming, Deputy Party Secretary and Party Working Committee Secretary of Xiangcheng High-Tech Zone, and Zhang Wei, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy District Head.
In his speech, He Hui emphasized that the integration of digitalization and AI with the logistics industry is deepening, driving the sector from "traditional operations" toward "intelligent transformation." He called for a focus on key areas such as manufacturing supply chain collaboration and cross-border e-commerce logistics to make technological applications more practical. He also advocated for collaborative innovation among enterprises, universities, and research institutions to optimize supply chain networks and solve transportation inefficiencies, injecting vitality into high-quality economic development.
Zhang Wei highlighted Xiangcheng’s commitment to a "data-driven, computing-powered, algorithm-empowered" approach, accelerating AI adoption across industries. Currently, nearly 800 digital and intelligent economy-related enterprises have gathered in Xiangcheng, supported by specialized policies in industry, talent, and application scenarios. The Suzhou AI Computing Center is under rapid development, with 24 specialized funds exceeding 28 billion yuan, strengthening the industrial and talent ecosystem.
Xiangcheng High-Tech Zone, centered around the Suzhou AI Industrial Park, has established an AI "1+N" system, targeting eight specialized sectors to create a digital and intelligent industry cluster. This year, the Digital & Intelligent Logistics Joint Innovation Lab was launched in Xiangcheng, attracting multiple innovation resources. The district looks forward to collaborating with associations, experts, and enterprises to advance smart logistics.
During the event, the *China Smart Logistics Development Report* was released, and the *2026 AI + Logistics Research Report* was initiated. The CFLP Smart Logistics Branch will delve into various smart logistics scenarios, study advancement pathways, document innovative cases, and summarize industry experiences, with a focus on AI and other emerging technologies to empower the sector through research findings.
In keynote speeches, experts from academia and enterprises shared insights on AI’s role in logistics. A panel discussion explored the integration of embodied intelligence with the logistics industry. The event concluded with awards for the 2025 "AI+" Application Scenario Challenge winners.
Attendees included scholars, research institution representatives, logistics and supply chain executives, and local government officials.
