HANXBIO-B spends HK$1.04 million to repurchase 36,400 H-shares, treasury stock rises to 1.88 million shares

Hanx Biopharmaceuticals (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (HANXBIO-B, 03378) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return on 9 July 2026, outlining its latest share buyback activity on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

On 9 July 2026 the company repurchased 36,400 H-shares on-market at prices ranging between HK$28.00 and HK$28.90, translating to an average cost of HK$28.63 per share and an aggregate consideration of HK$1.04 million. All repurchased shares were retained as treasury stock.

Following the transaction, the company’s total share count remained unchanged at 136.22 million shares. Issued shares excluding treasury stock decreased to 134.34 million, while treasury shares increased from 1.84 million to 1.88 million. The latest buyback equates to 0.027% of the company’s issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the repurchase.

The purchases were made under the share-repurchase mandate approved on 24 June 2026, which authorises Hanx Biopharmaceuticals to buy back up to 13.47 million shares. Including the latest transaction, 359,000 shares—representing 0.27% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date—have been repurchased. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share disposals until 8 August 2026.

The board confirmed that the repurchase complied with all applicable Hong Kong listing regulations and domestic rules, and that there have been no material changes to the explanatory statement filed on 2 June 2026.
