On June 19th, most popular US-listed Chinese stocks closed lower, with the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index falling by 0.78%.

Stocks that gained ground, listed in order of market capitalization from highest to lowest, included Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM), which surged 6.94%; ASE Technology Holding (ASX), up 8.33%; NetEase, Inc. (NTES), rising 0.36%; United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), jumping 10.66%; Baidu, Inc. (BIDU), up 0.13%; Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME), gaining 0.46%; Silicon Motion Technology Corporation (SIMO), advancing 4.73%; Kanzhun Limited (BZ), up 1.71%; and WSP Holdings Limited (WH), increasing 0.75%.

Stocks that declined, listed in order of market capitalization from highest to lowest, included Alibaba Group Holding Limited (BABA), down 0.32%; PDD Holdings Inc. (PDD), falling 0.38%; JD.com, Inc. (JD), dropping 1.22%; Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. (CHT), decreasing 0.44%; Trip.com Group Limited (TCOM), down 3.48%; KE Holdings Inc. (BEKE), falling 3.93%; ZTO Express (Cayman) Inc. (ZTO), declining 1.03%; Li Auto Inc. (LI), down 2.72%; Huazhu Group Limited (HTHT), dropping 2.57%; XPeng Inc. (XPEV), falling 1.71%; NIO Inc. (NIO), down 0.59%; Full Truck Alliance Co. Ltd. (YMM), decreasing 2.50%; New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. (EDU), down 1.60%; Vipshop Holdings Limited (VIPS), falling 0.30%; GDS Holdings Limited (GDS), dropping 4.49%; Atour Lifestyle Holdings Limited (ATAT), down 0.54%; Webull Corporation (WB), falling 0.56%; and MINISO Group Holding Limited (MNSO), declining 1.73%.

In the early hours of June 19th Beijing time, the three major US stock indices saw recovery gains. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 72.71 points, or 0.14%, to close at 51,565.26. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 496.27 points, or 1.91%, to finish at 26,517.93. The S&P 500 index increased by 80.48 points, or 1.08%, ending the session at 7,500.58.
