Petrobras Nears Agreement with SBM Offshore for Two FPSOs in Sergipe Deepwater Project

A senior executive at Petrobras stated on Thursday that negotiations with SBM Offshore for two Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) units for the Sergipe deepwater project have been concluded. The executive added that contracts for these two FPSOs are on the verge of being signed. During a press conference detailing investments in the state of Sergipe, CEO Magda Chambriard announced that the vessels will be named P-81 and P-87.
