The inspection was conducted in accordance with standards including GB 4706.1-2005 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances—Part 1: General Requirements," GB 4706.53-2008 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances—Particular Requirements for Toilet Seats," GB 38448-2019 "Limit Values and Grades for Energy and Water Efficiency of Smart Toilets," and GB/T 6952-2015 "Sanitary Ceramics." A total of 33 items were tested, including unit cycle energy consumption, average water consumption for cleaning, average water consumption for flushing, full-flush water volume for dual-flush smart toilets, and half-flush average water consumption for dual-flush smart toilets.
The inspection revealed that one batch of products sold by Linyi Jiangzao Furniture and Appliances Co., Ltd. failed to meet the relevant standards. The non-compliant items were the average water consumption for cleaning and the half-flush average water consumption for dual-flush smart toilets.
The Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Administration has instructed the relevant local market supervision departments to handle the non-compliant results in accordance with the "Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Interim Measures for the Administration of Product Quality Supervision and Sampling," and relevant regulations from the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Administration.
