On December 17, at the 2025 PV Industry Annual Conference's Supply Chain Development Seminar, Li Zhenguo, Chief Technology Officer of Longi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Dean of the Central Research Institute, emphasized the need for unity and consensus in the photovoltaic industry. He stated that the sector must strengthen innovation leadership, build a resilient and collaborative supply chain system, and actively expand global markets to enhance the international influence and competitiveness of Chinese PV brands. Additionally, he urged industry peers to enhance practical cooperation, reinforce self-regulation, and firmly resist irrational competition to foster an open, inclusive, standardized, and efficient industrial ecosystem.

Li Zhenguo highlighted that after decades of development, China's PV industry has grown from scratch into a strategically emerging sector with international competitive advantages, featuring active R&D, a complete supply chain, and end-to-end self-sufficiency. Through independent innovation and original technological advancements, Chinese PV companies have achieved global leadership in multiple supply chain segments, with products exported to over 200 countries and regions, becoming a crucial pillar of the global energy transition.

He noted that while China's PV industry has achieved remarkable success, it is undergoing a profound cyclical adjustment, facing challenges such as overcapacity, price fluctuations, and cutthroat competition. Innovation-driven and stable supply chain collaboration remains key to sustaining healthy industry growth.
