Chip stocks rallied in morning trading on Monday. Intel rose 7%; Seagate Technology rose 6%; Micron, Western Digital, and SanDisk rose 5%; Marvell Technology, Lam Research, and Arm rose 4%; ASML and Nvidia rose 3%; AMD and TSMC rose 2%.
Nvidia’s GTC 2026, the company’s biggest event of the year, kicks off in San Jose, Calif., on Monday with a keynote from CEO Jensen Huang.
