ST HLDGS: Chairman Li Mung Tat Purchases 0.48 Million Shares, Holding Falls to 1.94% of Issued Capital

Sheng Tang Holdings Limited (ST HLDGS) disclosed that Chairman and Executive Director Mr. Li Mung Tat has acquired 0.48 million ordinary shares of the company on the open market at an average price of HKD 0.210 per share, representing a cash outlay of roughly HKD 0.48 million.

Prior to the transaction, Mr. Li held 31.50 million shares, or about 2.50% of ST HLDGS’s total issued share capital. Following the purchase, his shareholding rose to 31.98 million shares but, due to changes in the company’s overall share base, now accounts for an estimated 1.94% of the total issued shares.

The company noted that Mr. Li’s purchase underscores his confidence in ST HLDGS’s long-term prospects; he has not ruled out additional share purchases subject to regulatory compliance. Management confirmed that the company continues to meet the public-float requirements of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s GEM listing rules.
