Data collected over the past 24 hours indicates that the average terminal retail price for ten major Chinese baijiu products continued its steady upward trend on February 20th. If one bottle of each of the ten major products were sold as a bundle, the total price today would be 9,231 yuan, an increase of 5 yuan from the previous day, setting a new record high since the beginning of the year. Bullish sentiment continues to build in the market, with the price center rising steadily.
The market today displayed a balanced pattern of divergence, with five products rising and five falling. Among the gainers, Qing Hua Lang performed notably, increasing by 8 yuan per bottle, leading the gains for the fourth consecutive day. Guo Jiao 1573 rose by 5 yuan per bottle, returning to 905 yuan. Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ and Fine Moutai saw increases of 4 yuan and 3 yuan per bottle, respectively. Gujing Gongjiu Gu20 experienced a slight rise of 1 yuan per bottle. Among the decliners, Qing Hua Fen 20 led the pullback, dropping by 9 yuan per bottle from 401 yuan to 392 yuan. Xijiu Junpin dipped slightly by 1 yuan per bottle. Wuliangye普五八代 also saw a minor decrease of 1 yuan per bottle. The daily data is sourced from approximately 200 collection points reasonably distributed across major regions nationwide. These points include, but are not limited to, designated distributors, independent distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sample data consists of actual, transacted terminal retail prices from these points over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide objective, authentic, scientific, and fully traceable data on the market prices of well-known baijiu products. Since the official i-Moutai platform began selling Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle and Fine Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle, the channel's influence on the average terminal retail prices of these two products has gradually become apparent. The daily prices follow a calculation rule weighted by actual transaction volume, and quantifiable prices are increasingly being incorporated into the calculation of the terminal retail prices for Feitian Moutai and Fine Moutai.
In terms of market analysis for the baijiu industry, a report provided a comprehensive analysis of the current development trends in the sector. The report pointed out that the Spring Festival market was characterized by a late start to sales, a restructuring of consumption scenarios, a divergence in price segments, and an acceleration of channel transformation. Family gatherings and personal consumption have replaced business banquets as the core scenarios. Distributors are adopting more cautious stocking strategies, turning to short videos for customer acquisition. Marketing objectives for distilleries have shifted towards stabilizing prices, reducing inventory, and protecting channel profits. The report also highlighted the rise of female consumer power, noting significant growth in female users for brands such as Jingjiu and Wuliangye. Female consumers account for as much as 61% of low-alcohol beverage consumption, and women now constitute 50% of alcohol consumers on a major e-commerce platform, with young women becoming an important growth driver. Leading distilleries are actively targeting the female market by launching low-alcohol fruit-flavored beverages and healthy drinks, with meeting the 'self-indulgence' needs of women identified as a key factor for the industry's development.
