On December 21, multiple consumers recently complained about Lele Tea's new "Apple Candy" series, citing issues such as poor taste, stickiness, and excessive sweetness.
In response, Lele Tea issued an apology statement: The company promptly conducted a nationwide inspection of the "Apple Candy" series across all stores. Non-compliant products have been immediately removed from shelves, and affected stores have been ordered to rectify the issues. Severe penalties were imposed on outlets with significant quality deviations. The "Apple Candy" series is gradually being reintroduced nationwide.
Lele Tea identified key problems: 1. Apples in the drink were not properly coated with sugar. 2. Insufficient sugar coating led to rapid apple oxidation. 3. Overly thick sugar coating resulted in an unpleasant sticky texture. 4. Excessively high syrup temperature darkened the apples' color. 5. Missing or improperly placed toppings.
The company acknowledged inadequate preparation and oversight, leading to inconsistent product quality and diminished customer experience.
