Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) CEO Dr. Lisa Su stated that the company's data center business continues to expand rapidly and is currently the primary driver for its revenue and profit growth. Dr. Su indicated on a conference call with analysts, "We are seeing strong momentum, particularly in the inference segment, as customers transition from pilot programs to full-scale production deployments. Our leading memory capacity and bandwidth are key advantages." She added that, as a result, AMD is securing deeper, long-term customer engagements within its data center business, including large-scale, multi-generational deployment agreements. "We have high and increasing confidence in achieving annual Data Center AI revenue in the tens of billions of dollars by 2027, and in exceeding our long-term growth target of greater than 80% over the coming years," Dr. Su said.
