2025 "Guihao" Yizhou Specialty Agricultural Products Promotion Event Successfully Held in Chongqing

On December 14, 2025, the "Guihao" Yizhou Specialty Agricultural Products Production-Sales Matchmaking Event took place in Chongqing.

The event featured a bustling exhibition area showcasing Yizhou's distinctive agricultural products, attracting numerous buyers who engaged in direct discussions with company representatives. Attendees sampled unique products like mulberry leaf tea, oil tea, as well as Yizhou-grown Shatangju oranges, fragrant lemons, and dried lemon slices, while also appreciating the smooth texture of silk products. The event concluded with on-site contracts totaling 32.4 million yuan.

He Guangyue, manager of Chongqing Longweiduo Fruit Co., Ltd., remarked after tasting Yizhou Shatangju oranges: "Yizhou's specialty agricultural products stand out for their exceptional quality and distinct characteristics, particularly the lemons and Shatangju oranges. Through this event, we've reached preliminary cooperation agreements with Yizhou enterprises and will establish long-term procurement channels to bring more high-quality products to Chongqing consumers."

Yizhou District in Hechi City, Guangxi, is a key production area for specialty agricultural products such as silkworm cocoons, lemons, citrus fruits, and camellia oil. In recent years, Yizhou has prioritized agricultural development, drawing on the "Thousand Villages Project" experience to advance modern, high-quality agriculture. Currently, Yizhou leads all Chinese counties in mulberry field acreage and fresh cocoon production for 20 consecutive years, with an entire industry chain value exceeding 11 billion yuan. Its sugarcane, fruit, and vegetable industries have also flourished, with brands like "Shihua" white sugar, Beiya lemons, and Desheng Shatangju oranges gaining widespread recognition. The district has established 251 specialty agricultural demonstration zones and over 900 new agricultural business entities, achieving a 98.37% specialty industry coverage rate.

"This event, through product displays, matchmaking, and cultural exchanges, will not only expand Yizhou's agricultural market reach but also enhance the influence and competitiveness of the 'Guihao' brand," said Lu Hance, Director of Yizhou District's Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau.
