Stock News05-08

CALB (03931) rose more than 4% in Hong Kong trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 3.7% to HK$35.88, with a turnover of HK$11.3749 million.

The increase follows the company's recent announcement of its first-quarter 2026 results. CALB reported operating revenue of RMB 11.804 billion, a year-on-year increase of 71.2%. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent company reached RMB 373 million, surging 62.1% compared to the same period last year.

Analysts noted that CALB is accelerating its overseas expansion. For power batteries, the company has continued to secure customers such as Hyundai and Toyota. Orders are expected to be gradually realized from 2026 to 2027 as new vehicle models enter mass production.

In the energy storage battery segment, CALB secured orders in Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, and East Asia in 2025. Direct exports are projected to achieve a breakthrough in 2026. The positive impact of higher-margin overseas customers is anticipated to drive continued improvement in the company's profit structure.
