CGN Power Completes Issuance of First and Second Medium-Term Notes for 2026

CGN Power (01816) has announced the successful issuance of its first and second medium-term notes for the year 2026 on April 21, 2026. This follows the company's successful registration of a multi-variety debt financing program with the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors in China, allowing it to issue various debt instruments, including super short-term commercial paper, short-term financing bills, medium-term notes, asset-backed notes, green debt financing tools, and privately placed debt financing instruments in phases during the validity period.

The first medium-term note has a total issuance value of RMB 1 billion, a term of three years, a face value of RMB 100 per note, and a coupon rate of 1.63%. It becomes effective on April 22, 2026, and will mature on April 22, 2029. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited acted as the bookrunner and organized the underwriting syndicate for the public offering in China's interbank bond market using the book-building and centralized placement method.

The second medium-term note also has a total issuance value of RMB 1 billion, a three-year term, a face value of RMB 100, and a coupon rate of 1.63%. It takes effect on April 22, 2026, and will mature on April 22, 2029. Agricultural Bank of China Limited served as the bookrunner and organized the underwriting syndicate for the public issuance in China's interbank bond market via book-building and centralized placement.

Proceeds from the medium-term notes will be used entirely by the company's subsidiaries to repay borrowings. The company confirms it is not a失信责任主体 (discredited entity).
