Starting March 26, two new bus routes have commenced operations in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. The routes include a dedicated commuter line from Rongchang East Street Subway Station to Pharmaron, and a circular bus service linking Majuqiao with Tongji South Road Subway Station. These new lines will effectively connect the Rongchang East Street and Tongji South Road subway stations along the Yizhuang Line with key corporate parks and residential areas within the zone, significantly improving regional commuting convenience.
The Rongchang East Street Subway Station to Pharmaron commuter line has 11 stops along its route, closely linking the subway station with major corporate parks such as Beijing Benz, Gemdale WeNew, and the Cell Park. Fares are consistent with regular bus services. On weekdays, the line will operate two buses, each making four trips per day. Departure times from Hongda South Road North Intersection are set at 7:20, 7:40, 16:45, and 17:15, while departures from Pharmaron's second campus are scheduled for 8:10, 8:30, 17:40, and 18:10, accommodating the needs of commuters.
Simultaneously, a circular bus route connecting Majuqiao and Tongji South Road Subway Station has also been launched to enhance transportation links between the Majuqiao area and the core rail transit network of the Beijing Economic Zone. This circular service begins at Tongji South Road Subway Station (Kangding Street) and operates along Tongji South Road, Huoma Road, and Yongchang South Road. Initially, the route will run in a trial operation mode with one bus making 10 trips per day on weekdays. Operating hours at Tongji South Road Subway Station are set during morning peak hours from 7:00 to 9:00 and evening peak hours from 17:30 to 19:30, with departure frequencies adjusted flexibly based on actual passenger flow to best serve commuter demand.
