Due to the construction requirements of the expansion project for the Dongguan to Shenzhen section of the Pearl River Delta Ring Expressway (from Tangxia to Dongcheng) and the Longlin branch line, it is necessary to demolish the K44+330 and K46+906 overpass bridges crossing the Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway (G94) in the Songshan Lake area. To ensure the safety and orderly progress of the expansion project, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the main line of the Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway (G94) from Liaobu Interchange to Dayou Garden Interchange from 12:00 PM on October 16, 2025, to 12:00 AM on October 17, 2025, prohibiting all vehicle passage.
The controlled section will cover approximately 11.6 km, closing from Liaobu Interchange to Dayou Garden Interchange. Specific closed points are as follows: 1. Liaobu Interchange: All lanes of the Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway southbound will be closed, including the eastbound and westbound access ramps from Guanglong Expressway to Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway southbound. 2. Dayou Garden Interchange: All lanes of the Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway northbound will be closed, along with the eastbound and westbound access ramps from Changhu Expressway to Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway northbound. 3. Dalang Station: The entire toll station will be closed, prohibiting vehicles from entering or exiting the highway. 4. Shida Station: The southbound entrance ramp will be closed, while access from Shida Station to the north direction (towards Dongguan) will not be affected.
Recommended detour routes for through traffic mainly include Guanglong Expressway, Guangshen Expressway, and Yongguan Expressway. The alternative routes are: 1. Southbound diversion route from Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway towards Shenzhen: Use Guanglong Expressway and Guangshen Expressway for diversion. For Dalang, Huangjiang, and Tangxia directions: Vehicles can exit early from Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway at Tun Station or Management Center Station, traveling via Songshan Lake Avenue to reach Dalang, Huangjiang, and Tangxia. 2. Northbound diversion route from Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway towards Zengcheng: Use Yongguan Expressway for diversion. For Dalang, Liaobu, and Dongguan city area: Vehicles can divert via Dayou Garden Interchange to Yongguan Expressway westbound, exiting at Songshan Lake Station towards Dalang, Liaobu, and Dongguan city area. 3. Eastbound diversion route from Guanglong Expressway towards Shenzhen: Vehicles can travel east on Guangfan Expressway, then switch to Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway towards Shenzhen. For Dalang, Huangjiang, and Tangxia: Vehicles can divert at Liaobu Interchange to Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway northbound, exiting at Tun Station and taking Songshan Lake Avenue to reach Dalang, Huangjiang, and Tangxia. 4. Westbound diversion route from Guanglong Expressway towards Shenzhen: Travel west on Guanglong Expressway, then switch to Guangshen Expressway for detour. For Dalang, Huangjiang, and Tangxia: Vehicles can divert at Liaobu Interchange to Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway northbound, exiting at Tun Station via Songshan Lake Avenue to Dalang, Huangjiang, and Tangxia. 5. Eastbound diversion route on Yongguan Expressway towards Dalang, Liaobu, and Dongguan city area: Vehicles can exit at Songshan Lake Station for Dalang, Liaobu, and Dongguan city area. 6. Westbound diversion route on Yongguan Expressway towards Dalang, Liaobu, and Dongguan city area: Vehicles can exit at Songshan Lake Station for Dalang, Liaobu, and Dongguan city area.
