Cambricon Technologies Corporation Limited has just released its announcement, reporting third-quarter operating revenue of 3.531 billion yuan, up 104.47% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 1.404 billion yuan, up 147.74% year-on-year.
For the first three quarters, operating revenue totaled 9.526 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 106.76%; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 3.715 billion yuan, up 131.49% year-on-year.
Cambricon Technologies stated that the substantial increase in operating revenue compared to the same period last year drove significant growth in total profit, net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company, and net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses.
The performance change is primarily attributed to the company's continuous market expansion and active efforts to facilitate the implementation of artificial intelligence applications.
Cambricon Technologies has successively developed multiple intelligent processors and chip products, including the Cambricon 1A, Cambricon 1H, and Cambricon 1M series intelligent processors for terminal scenarios; cloud intelligent accelerator card series products based on the Siyuan 100, Siyuan 270, Siyuan 290, and Siyuan 370 chips; and edge intelligent accelerator cards based on the Siyuan 220 chip.
In terms of technology reserves, Cambricon Technologies has mastered key technologies in the intelligent chip field, including intelligent processor microarchitecture, intelligent processor instruction sets, SoC chip design, processor chip functional verification, advanced process physical design, chip packaging design and mass production testing, and hardware system design; in the basic system software technology field, it has mastered key technologies such as programming framework adaptation and optimization, intelligent chip programming languages, intelligent chip compilers, intelligent chip math libraries, intelligent chip virtualization software, intelligent chip core drivers, and cloud-edge-device integrated development environments.
As of March 31, 2025, the company has cumulatively obtained 1,556 authorized patents, including 1,482 invention patents. It also holds 65 software copyrights and 6 integrated circuit layout designs.
Previously, Cambricon Technologies revealed that a new generation of intelligent processor microarchitecture and instruction set is under development, while the basic system software platform is also undergoing continuous iterative optimization.
Among these, the training software platform continues to advance the research and development and improvement of the training software stack around directions such as training ecosystem construction, model adaptation and performance optimization, low-precision training, and training tools, achieving phased progress in large model training adaptation capabilities, training efficiency, and system stability.
The inference software platform continues to advance the research, development, and optimization of the inference software platform around directions such as large model inference, computational graph compilation, operator programming and acceleration libraries, and communication. Platform functionality, model adaptation capabilities, operational efficiency, and system stability have been further enhanced, achieving phased results in internal research and development, customer business, and scenarios such as search and recommendation.
