HK TECH VENTURE (01137) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, showing revenue of HK$2.045 billion, an increase of 8.31% year-on-year. The company recorded a net loss of HK$78.06 million for the period, widening by 236.39% compared to the same period last year, with a loss per share of HK$0.10.

Amid increasingly fierce competition in Hong Kong's retail market, the group accelerated its market share expansion strategy in the first half of 2026 by enhancing pricing, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives. While these measures have exerted pressure on the group's short-term profitability, they have driven sustained growth in gross merchandise value and the customer base.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, the group will further sharpen its focus on price competitiveness to establish and solidify the "HKTVmall Always Cheaper" brand image. The company has launched a new "Daily Price Comparison" feature on the HKTVmall app homepage, which tracks supermarket prices for over 1,000 popular best-selling products, allowing customers to instantly see HKTVmall's price advantages and significantly enhancing price transparency. Customers no longer need to visit different supermarkets for manual comparisons—one app provides access to the best prices, effectively saving time and optimizing the overall shopping experience.
