Wuhai City recently organized a targeted exchange and matchmaking event in Shenzhen focusing on the solid-state battery industry.

This initiative aims to seize development opportunities in the solid-state battery sector and actively attract advanced technologies and industrial resources from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

During the event, Wuhai's Regional Economic Cooperation Bureau provided a detailed overview of the city's overall industrial layout, key investment sectors, and the development platforms for the solid-state battery industry.

It also highlighted the unique complementary advantages between Wuhai and the Greater Bay Area within this specific industry chain.

The city's Energy Bureau offered a detailed interpretation of the overall new energy industry plan and policies for direct green power access.

This information provides clear policy guidance for solid-state battery companies seeking to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and build competitive market advantages.

A representative from the Guangdong Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce shared insights, expressing the chamber's commitment to leveraging its platform to facilitate connections.

The goal is to encourage more technology enterprises and solid-state battery industry chain projects from the Greater Bay Area to invest in Wuhai, thereby broadening channels for collaborative development between the north and south.

The interactive exchange session was lively, with representatives from over 20 high-quality Greater Bay Area companies in attendance.

They introduced their core technologies, R&D achievements, and industrial layout plans, proposing potential cooperation ideas and inquiring about supporting policies and industrial infrastructure based on their development needs.

This face-to-face communication between government and businesses enabled precise matching of supply and demand resources.

Attendees spoke highly of the event, noting that the Greater Bay Area possesses cutting-edge technology, high-end talent, and innovative platforms.

Meanwhile, Wuhai offers abundant green power, a complete industrial chain, and vast space for development, indicating significant potential for cooperation in the solid-state battery field.

Furthermore, the Wuhai Regional Economic Cooperation Bureau led relevant municipal and district departments on field visits to several companies, including Shenzhen Dynanonic Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Nansha Wafer Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhongke Chaoneng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

These visits involved in-depth discussions on projects related to lithium iron phosphate cathode materials, silicon carbide single crystal materials, and key equipment and core materials for solid-state batteries, actively promoting the formation of future cooperation intentions.

In recent years, Wuhai has accelerated the formation of a solid-state battery industrial system, leveraging its advantages in resources, energy, and existing industries.

The city's annual production capacity for graphite anode materials has reached 60,000 tons.

The Gotion High-tech 5GWh battery assembly and PACK factory project has been completed, and the nation's largest semi-solid-state lithium battery energy storage project, also the first of its kind in Inner Mongolia, has been constructed and connected to the grid.

Wuhai has also planned and is developing a solid-state battery industrial park covering over 1,700 acres and has established the region's first academician workstation dedicated to new energy and new materials.
