CHINA RUYI Surges Over 4% in Late Trading Following Game Partnership Agreement with Tencent and Corporate Rebranding

CHINA RUYI (00136) saw its stock rise more than 4% in late trading. As of the time of writing, the share price increased by 5.04% to HK$1.46, with a trading volume reaching HK$117 million.

On the news front, CHINA RUYI recently signed a 2026 Game Cooperation Framework Agreement with a representative company of Tencent. The collaboration covers four models: distribution cooperation, joint operation cooperation, marketing services, and exclusive agency. Under the agreement, 12 cooperative products are planned for preparation and are expected to be launched successively between 2026 and 2027.

According to publicly available information, Tencent indirectly holds approximately 15.37% of the shares in CHINA RUYI.

It is noteworthy that CHINA RUYI has become the indirect controlling shareholder and actual controller of Wanda Film through the acquisition of 100% equity in Wanda Investment, with both parties maintaining business cooperation. In April of this year, Wanda Film officially changed its name to Ruyi Film, marking CHINA RUYI's completion of a key layout in the national offline scene. Ruyi Film recently stated that the company will focus on building a "super entertainment space."
