Playmates Toys executes additional HK$0.15 million share buyback; cumulative repurchases reach 28.56 million shares

Playmates Toys Limited disclosed that it repurchased 324,000 ordinary shares on-market on 15 September 2026 at HK$0.47 per share, deploying HK$0.15 million. The shares are designated for cancellation and remain outstanding as of the same date, leaving the company’s issued share capital unchanged at 1.14 billion shares.

Including this latest transaction, Playmates Toys has bought back 5.71 million shares between 24 August and 15 September 2026 that are pending cancellation—equivalent to approximately 0.50 % of the current issued share base. Under the shareholder mandate granted on 22 May 2026, the company is authorised to repurchase up to 117.03 million shares. To date, 28.56 million shares have been acquired under this mandate, representing 2.44 % of the shares outstanding at the mandate date.

The company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 15 October 2026, in accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations governing share repurchases.
