Recently, Shenzhen Forms Syntron Information Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 300468) released its 2026 interim report. This has drawn attention to the company's founder and chairman, Zhou Zhiqun, prompting a closer look at his career history.
Zhou Zhiqun was born in 1971. He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a bachelor's degree in social sciences. From 1995 to 2001, he worked at Yuen Foong Yu Precision Technology Electronics (Beijing) Co., Ltd., serving as regional manager for South China. From 2001 to 2003, he served as general manager of Shenzhen Lianhe Xinchuang Technology Co., Ltd. In 2003, Zhou Zhiqun founded Forms Syntron and took on the roles of chairman and general manager. In August 2020, he stepped down as general manager, retaining only the chairman position. However, in February 2024, he once again assumed the role of general manager.
According to Tianyancha, at Forms Syntron, Zhou Zhiqun simultaneously holds five positions: chairman, general manager, head of finance, legal representative, and non-independent director. In terms of compensation, directors and senior management collectively received 8.2873 million yuan, with an average salary of 1.5292 million yuan. Among them, Zhou Zhiqun, as chairman, general manager, head of finance, and non-independent director, received the highest compensation of 2.8136 million yuan, a slight increase of 13,200 yuan from the previous year.
On July 5, 2026, Forms Syntron submitted its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for a second time, seeking a dual "A+H" listing. According to the 2026 interim report, the company achieved operating revenue of 353 million yuan, up 14.88% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders was 36.3436 million yuan, down 17.33% year-on-year; and net profit excluding non-recurring items was 35.6585 million yuan, down 19.17% year-on-year.
However, the gross margin fell from 39.81% in the same period last year to 35.97%, a decline of 3.84 percentage points. Financial expenses increased from -6.8323 million yuan in the same period last year to 4.0571 million yuan, up 159.38% year-on-year, mainly due to increased exchange gains and losses and a significant reduction in interest income. Whether this chairman, who holds five positions at once, can lead the company to a successful listing in Hong Kong remains to be seen.
